“Vioftan-4” is recommended for use in retinitis pigmentosa, macular dystrophy, retinopathy, hemeralopia (chicken blindness).
Active action of “Vioftan-4”:

1. Restoration of the function of retinal pigment cells.
2. Restoration of photoreceptor function.
3. Protection of the interfotoreceptor matrix.
4. Protective effect on cellular sources of retinal regeneration.

Composition:

1 ml of a sterile solution contains; 0.1±0.01 mg of CaCI2 and 10-10-10-11 mg of a protein-peptide complex.

Physiological effect:

“Vioftan-4” supports the viability of pigment epithelial cells, their adhesive interactions in the retinal monolayer. Activates cellular sources of regeneration in the retina — in particular, the cells of the Muller glia and bipolars, thereby ensuring the spatial and functional organization of the interphotoreceptor space.

Recommendations for use:

For the prevention and treatment of traumatic injuries, retinal dystrophy, retinitis pigmentosa, the initial stage of macular dystrophy of the eye.

Method of application:

1-2 drops of the solution should be installed on the eyelid from three to five times a day, depending on the intensity of turbidity.

Discontinuation of the drug is recommended after the disappearance of negative sensations.

Overdose:

Excluded.

Addictive effect:

Absent.

Storage conditions:

In a clean, dry, protected from the sun place at a temperature of +5 to +25 °C and a relative humidity of not more than 75%.

Expiration date:

2 years from the date of manufacture. After opening, store in the refrigerator and use for 30 days.
